ONCE AGAIN WITH A SPELLBINDING TALE OF SECOND CHANCES again with a spellbinding tale of second chances learning to trust again and the power of love that I found absolutely impossible to put down Deftly intertwining danger desire intrigue and adventure into a compelling historical romance that I didn t want to end in The Outcast s Redemption Sarah Mallory once again cements her standing as one of the Innocent Sins (Harlequin Presents, genre s finest and most talented writersI absolutely adored Grace who despite her sheltered life was a strong resourceful and resilient heroine readers cannot help but cheer for and damaged and flawed Wolfgang was a wonderful multi faceted hero who is than a match for Mr Darcy and Ross PoldarkVivid spellbinding and absolutely impossible to resist The Outcast s Redemption is another triumph for the fantastic Sarah Mallory The man falsely accused of killing his pregnant wife and stealing precious jewels flees away to safety but returns later to prove his innocence and be with his daughter Heets some help from vicars daughter among others who aids him in finding real murderer A joyful reunion of family and the lovers brings an end to the story I loved this book I like a story that concentrates on a ood plot without resorting loved this book I like a story that concentrates on a ood plot without resorting pages of sexual drivel and this fits the bill A shame the author spoilt this at the very end with a sex scene but at least it was not explicit The plot had plenty Copper Lake Secrets going for it and kept me interested You know who the villain was with the plot focusing on how Wolfgang was to prove his innocenceAood read which I can recommend I forgot how satisfying a ood Harleuin romance could be Although they re relatively short the best ones always manage perfect pacing packing just as much plot and character development into their pages as a longer book and this racy Regency was a shining example The efficient yet sensuous use of prose and the twists and turns of the plot kept me turning the pages right until the end and a ood helping of dialogue helped me feel I was etting to know the charactersGrace was an identifiable heroine desperately trying to balance her duty as a buttoned up vicar s daughter and fiancee to a Justice of the Peace with her visceral desire for the smoldering hero or on occasion anti hero scintillating outcast WolfI really enjoyed this read and I certainly won t leave it too long before picking up another Harleuin Regency I know this is one of a series although it works perfectly as a standalone read and I m curious to find out the stories behind some of the other infamous Arrandales who make cameo appearances in Wolf and Grace s story occasional moments where it stretched my suspension of disbelief but overall an interesting read.
